Surprisingly, many wonders are falling from the cupboards of RSS-BJP combine. The latest being, after Advani and Jaswant Singh, by former RSS chief Mr. K.S. Sudarshan that Mr. Mohamed Ali Jinnah was an associate of Mr. Bal Gangadhar Tilak and a staunch supporter of unified India. There are many other incidents which show Mr. Jinnah was a nationalist to the core and he has been demonised unnecessarily just to suit the whims of our politicians. Then it would be an interesting question as to what prompted Mr. Jinnah to pursue the demand for Pakistan and a detailed unbiased reading of history would bring out many more facts. It looks perhaps very shortly, Jinnah would be totally exonerated by the very people, who have been holding him guilty. Let us hope for a fresh air in the shape of a change of heart among RSS leaders which will ultimately build more bridges between different communities.
