A bomb explosion at the RSS centre at Vazhalilpeedika, near Panthakkal, Mahe, left two RSS activists injured. Following the blast, the nearby Madrasa, run by the Sidheeqiya Cultural Centre, was forced to remain closed because of the threats from Hindu Aikvya Vedic threats. The Muslims of the area have the apprehension that the blast is somewhere related to the saffron terror and it is a conspiracy against the working of the Madrasa in the region. They further demanded proper investigation of the incident. The two RSS activists are now undergoing treatment in a government hospital while it has not become clear whether they got injured while making the bombs at the centre or not. The Mahe administration earlier said that Madrasa will be reopened from the next day, however following the threats by the sangh parivar, it has succumbed to it.
