Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), Tamil Nadu arranges annual Book Fair at Neyveli every year. The 12th Neyveli Book Fair was held from July 3 to July 12 at Neyveli. On the final day of the Book Fair (July 12), NLC honoured Islamic Foundation Trust, Chennai (IFT) by awarding “The Best Publisher” for its valuable contribution to society in the field of Book Publishing and for its esteemed and inspiring presence in making the fair grand success. Mr. J.N. Prasanna Kumar, Director (Finance), NLC handed over the Award Certificate and Shield to K. Jalaludeen, Joint Secretary, IFT.
It was highlighted in the event that IFT has been publishing books for 30 years. It produces value-based books to make a change in the society in general and to present the message of Islamic way of life in particular to the people. IFT’s books have been included in the syllabi in many schools, colleges and universities. It is also mentioned that all the books of IFT are fruitful, value-based and for practical life.
Justice S. Nagamuthu of High Court Chennai graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
