Apropos the arrest of two ex-army men by the Madhya Pradesh police on their alleged role in the Malegaon and Modasa blasts, I hardly found the news report in the electronic and print media. A few days back, a big hullabaloo was made by the media when the Delhi police paraded three terror suspects by covering their faces with a particular cloth, as if to showcase their religion. Terrorism has no religion, and as such, it should be dealt with iron hand, irrespective of whichever religion the perpetrators of terror belong to. Inequitable dealing of terror by the law and justice-delivery mechanism is leading to further alienation and ghettoisation of Muslims in our country, apart from causing irreparable damage to the secular fabric.
