Jmi Organises A Programme On “quran, Science And Cosmos”

“The Holy book Qur’ān had unravelled many scientific mysteries 1400 years ago which came to be discovered by world scientists during the last two hundred years. Numerous principles and phenomenon about the earth, sea, sky, cosmos, solar system and embryo formation have already been clearly mentioned in the Holy Qur’ān.” These ideas were expressed by senior advocate of Supreme Court, Mr. Wasi Ahmad Nomani, in a programme on “Quran, Science and Cosmos,” organised by Jamia Millia Islamia. In his informative and erudite speech, he said, “Many scientists including Tallman and Sir James Jean have stated that during the course of resurrection there will be nothing but fire all over the oceans, the sun will rise from the west, the whole atmosphere shall become red and the sun will catch the moon. The same scientific revelations have already been stated by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be to him) when he said, “Qiyamah will not come to pass until the sun rises from the west.”
