A protest took place in Jamia Millia Islamia when the Jamia School issued its prospectus for the new session and it didn’t mention its status as a minority institution. The Jamia community demonstrated against the administration. The administration immediately announced the implementation of minority character from the current session. It is important that the prospectus should mention the 50 per cent reservation to Muslim students.
