Kudos to CPI(M)

It is noted with displeasure that so-called Muslim leaders of secular parties have never raised their voices as forcefully as Leftists for the mistreatment and harassment meted out to Muslims.

The CPI(M) Politburo has strongly condemned a spate of attacks against the members of Muslim community in various parts of the country. A list of mistreatment and harassment is as follows.

(1) In Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur, where three Muslim men transporting bullocks were killed allegedly by cow vigilantes.

(2) In Aligarh, a Muslim man was beaten to death on allegations of theft.

(3) In Mandala, MP, 11 houses of Muslims were demolished within 24 hours after alleged reports of ‘beef’ being recovered from their refrigerators.

(4) In Lucknow’s Akbarnagar, a predominantly Muslim area, the homes of over a thousand families were bulldozed for the construction of a riverfront.

(5) People belonging to the Hindu community in Gujarat’s Vadodara city came out openly in protest against the allotment of a flat to a Muslim.

It is noted with displeasure that so-called Muslim leaders of secular parties have never raised their voices as forcefully as Leftists for the mistreatment and harassment meted out to Muslims.

Whom to choose? Whom to follow?  Who is more reliable? The secular Muslims of secular parties or Lefties?

I express my thanks from the bottom of my heart to the leaders of CPI(M) for taking up the cause of the wretched, voiceless, marginalized and poorest segment of Indian society.  May their tribe grow.

 When Bridges Collapse…

It was shocking to read about how a bridge under construction has collapsed in Bihar, which is incidentally the third such incident in less than a week. Is there no accountability on the part of the officials and technical personnel concerned when it comes to checking and monitoring the quality of such constructions?

How can those who undertake such projects be so brazen and put the lives of thousands of people who would have passed on these bridges at risk? Unless exemplary punishment is meted out to those responsible for such shoddy work, the negligent attitude will continue.

Haj 2024: A Bitter Experience

Allah, the Exalted graciously provided me and my wife an opportunity to perform Haj 2024. The pilgrims performed every ritual correctly and easily.  But when they started moving from Muzdalifah to Jamarat on 9th Dhul-Hijjah for symbolic pebble throwing, they witnessed human disaster on the road due to extreme temperature that raised to 52 degreesCelsius.

The Saudi Government failed to provide sufficient drinking water, medical facilities and resting sheds for pilgrims by the road from Muzdalifah to Jamarat, resulting in death and unconsciousness of many pilgrims on the road.

I too suffered aserious health problem under this condition;however, Allah saved me. I think this human disaster happened because of an abnormally excessive number of pilgrims invited by Saudi Government which it could not properly control, manage and entertain. Moreover, I saw that the pilgrims went to visit the Prophet Museum at Clock Tower near the House of Ka’bah. The entry ticket to the Museum was SAR 70 each and many pilgrims could not afford this price. Is there a commercial motive behind it?
