It seems that Mumbai ATS is on a prowl these days and is looking for educated Muslims to falsely implicate them. Recently a student of engineering, hailing from Darbhanga, Bihar was arrested by the Mumbai ATS from Mohali. According to the Supreme Court guidelines, family of the arrested person should be informed within 24 hours of arrest, however even after 72 hours of Abdul Wahab Umar’s arrest ATS has not informed his family and has taken him to Mumbai. Since November 22, 2011, Delhi and Mumbai police have arrested 8 Muslim youths all hailing from Bihar. It should be noted that all those arrested are the ones who are either well educated or pursuing higher or good technical education. Hence a large chunk of Muslim population believes that these arrests are a part of a bigger controversy hatched against the Muslims. It should also be noted that all of the 14 Muslim youths recently released by Jaipur High Court, falsely implicated in Jaipur blasts, were either well educated or were pursuing higher education.
