Netanyahu in UN General Assembly

The isolation and boycott of Israel is the act which should be strengthened at all levels to build pressure against it. This should continue until international organizations and various countries correct the mistake of recognizing the occupying state (Israel) at the expense of the rights of the Palestinian people on their lands.

The Israeli occupation state has never been more isolated than it is today. During the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, there were protests outside it in New York. At the same time, it was also noticed that diplomats left the hall as soon as the Prime Minister of the occupation state (Israel), Benjamin Netanyahu started his speech. When he spoke, the hall looked almost empty as delegations from countries such as Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Palestine, Kuwait, Pakistan and many others had walked out. The picture was an example of what should be done to isolate this criminal entity.

Netanyahu stood on the UN podium in his usual arrogant manner, confirming his path of continuing genocide, escalation and expanding the war until what he calls complete victory. This time, Netanyahu came with a new path of escalation. In addition to his aggression against Gaza, he addresses the world attacking Lebanon. He also warned it of a greater war and escalation.

Although the UN as an organization is unable to play an effective role against rogue states such as the Israeli occupation state, the scene of the departure of delegations from the General Assembly as Netanyahu began his speech was unprecedented. It indicated the extent of the isolation which the Zionist entity is currently experiencing. This is after its true face was exposed to most countries of the world. Even those who clapped for Netanyahu were not delegations but rather they were the people who were hired to applaud him.

In fact, the walk out of these delegations was in protest against the war criminal Netanyahu who stood there to give lessons when his own hands are soaked in the blood of children and women. Netanyahu likes to classify countries into axis of good and an axis of evil. He certainly considers himself and his supporters to be the axis of virtue. The truth is that it is better to prevent war criminals such as Netanyahu and his ministers from ascending to the helm of international organizations. Netanyahu exploited this platform to attack the United Nations itself, its officials, and the International Criminal Court, saying that the United Nations has become a contemptible farce.  Israel’s representative to the United Nations had previously torn up its charter in a blatant act.

The isolation and boycott of Israel is the act which should be strengthened at all levels to build pressure against it. This should continue until international organizations and various countries correct the mistake of recognizing the occupying state (Israel) at the expense of the rights of the Palestinian people on their lands.

The greatest tragedy is that Netanyahu is speaking at the United Nations while he is wanted by the Prosecutor General of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, for his responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Netanyahu realizes the danger of this isolation. He said that isolating Israel is a matter of disgrace for the United Nations until it is treated like other countries. However, what Netanyahu, his government and his supporters have not been convinced of is that the occupation (Israel) cannot be treated as a normal state, even if it looks at itself and imagines itself as a normal state. Now, the occupying state is resorting to expensive military adventures to cover up its fragility, as it did in Gaza and Beirut. Its isolation will certainly increase.
