POLICE ARRESTING YOUTHS IN MORADABAD

After facing the horrors of the riots in the holy and blessed month of Ramadhan, the people of Moradabad have got another reason to worry. Just when the ambience of the city returned to normal, and the curfew revoked, the police started arresting Muslim youths implicating them in the riot crimes. The Muslims of the area have said that police is arresting innocent Muslim youths which again has created a sense of fear and angst in the community. The families of those arrested have become extremely worried with this action of the city police. In this concern a delegation, under the leadership of Imam Hakeem Sayyad Masoom Ali Azad, called on the D.I.G. to express their suspicion over the police action and asked for putting an end to the arrests, so that the people might celebrate the festival of Eid, in a tension-free environment. However the delegation did not receive any positive response from the D.I.G.
