SRK’s Act Violates Islamic Laws
According to a media report, film star Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) visited Vaishno Devi temple performed Puja and sought the blessings ahead of the release of his song “Besharam Rang” from “Pathaan”.
Islamic seminaries (irrespective of their sect) should take suo motu notice of this action of SRK and debar him from Islam. His act is against basic tenets of Islam which does not allow any Muslim to worship anyone other than Allah. Moreover, idol worship is strictly prohibited in Islam. Such namesake Muslims have no place in Islam.
SRK’s act violates Islamic laws and therefore, he should be ousted from Islam with immediate effect. He is no longer a Muslim and should repent (Tauba) for his un-Islamic act and read Kalima only then he should be allowed to embrace Islamic fold once again.
I strongly condemn the act of SRK and his tribe.

The Junta is Not So Foolish
In a notification on December 28, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said, “The ‘free’ import policy of urad and tur shall stand extended up to March 31, 2024.” The notification made by DGFT raises many questions. March 31, 2024 will be a time charged with general elections. Is the said notification aimed at reaping political dividends in the Parliamentary elections? Or, do you think after March 31, 2024, the country will be self-sufficient in producing urad and tur? This is the 21st century and the junta is not so foolish to be deceived by such lollipops.
If you are adopting free import policy for certain items in the interest of public welfare, it should not be time specific.
Contain Crimes against Women
The National Commission for Women (NCW) has said that it has received nearly 31,000 complaints of crimes against women in the year 2022. This figure is the highest since 2014. In 2021, the Commission had received 30,864 complaints while in 2022, the number slightly increased to 30,957.
Of the 30,957 complaints, the maximum of 9,710 were related to the right to live with dignity that takes into account the emotional abuse of women, followed by those related to domestic violence at 6,970 and dowry harassment at 4,600, according to NCW data published on January 1, 2023. About 54.5 per cent (16,872) of the complaints were received from the BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh alone. AAP-ruled Delhi recorded 3,004 complaints, followed by Maharashtra (1,381), Bihar (1,368) and Haryana (1,362).
The NCW data is enough to send shockwaves to the womenfolk across the country. The Government should chalk out a plan to contain the crimes against women.

Haryana Sports Minister is in the Soup
Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh is in the soup these days. On January 1, a report said that he was booked for stalking, illegal confinement, sexual harassment and criminal intimidation after a woman junior coach lodged a police complaint against him. The FIR against Sandeep Singh was registered at Sector 26 police station, Chandigarh in the night of December 31. Sandeep Singh, who is an Olympian and former Indian hockey team captain, has however rejected the allegations, terming them baseless.
The woman coach, who is also an international-level athlete, interacted with the two senior police officers, Senior Superintendent of Police (UT) Manisha Chaudhary along with SP Arora, for at least an hour, and complained of harassment at the hands of the said minister. If the charges levelled by the complainant are proved after due investigation, it will throw light on the type of politicians we have in our political corridors.
