Creating More Harmony among Doctors

Promoting open communication is essential. Doctors should be encouraged to openly communicate with one another and address any issues or concerns they have in a timely manner. The culture of argumentation among medical professionals can be helpful to establish channels of communication, such as regular meetings or suggestion boxes, to facilitate the sharing of ideas and concerns.

Fostering a culture of teamwork is another important step in creating harmony among doctors. Providing opportunities for doctors to continuously learn and improve their skills can help keep them interested and up-to-date on the latest developments in their field. This may involve offering continuing education courses or encouraging doctors to attend conferences and seminars.

In addition to these steps, promoting work-life balance is also key to creating harmony among doctors. Ensuring that doctors have sufficient time off, flexible scheduling, and support for self-care can help reduce stress, which can lead to a more harmonious work environment. This may involve providing resources such as counselling services or stress management workshops.

Overall, by promoting open communication, fostering a culture of teamwork, encouraging continuous learning, and promoting work-life balance, it is possible to create more harmony among doctors in the Indian context. This, in turn, can lead to improved patient care and outcomes, and a more functional healthcare system.

Periodic Updation of KYC in Bank Accounts

Citing regulations of the RBI, many banks have been sending intimations/ reminders to clients, asking them to update the latest identity and address proof details as a part of the periodic updation of Know Your Customer (KYC) data. In case of non-compliance, they are threatened with freezing of accounts. In this connection, the banks seek copies of any one document such as the Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Passport, etc. While the point is well taken, and, due to the lack of clarity in address in other documents, in case a client opts to file a masked Aadhaar with only the last four digits visible – which the Unique Identification Authority of India strongly recommends to safeguard one from fraud. Some banks insist on clients to submit unmasked Aadhaar. When the required details such as the identity and address are available in the masked Aadhaar, what is the difficulty in accepting it?

At the time when various kinds of fraudulent activities are taking place even with stringent measures in place, the clients must be allowed to exercise extreme caution. The UIDAI/RBI should intervene so that banks do not take things for granted and harass the clients by interpreting the rules and regulations whimsically.

Why TNis Demanding the Centre Take Back Mr Ravi

It is more than clear that the voice of the BJP, which wants to purge the word ‘TAMIL NADU’ and change it to ‘TAMIZHAGAM’, has come out through Governor R N Ravi, who is increasingly becoming the mouthpiece of the party. The BJP must know that any such drastic attempt will boomerang on it and will further weaken the party’s growth in the State. It is wrong to say that the word ‘NADU’ in ‘TAMIL NADU’ represents an autonomous region, whereas it actually means the ‘homeland’ of the people of the State.

From clashing with the government on the appointment of Vice Chancellors for universities to pugnacious conduct towards clearing bills passed by the State assembly. There are a lot of reasons why the State has been demanding the Centre take back Mr Ravi.
