The eviction drives ruthlessly being carried out by the Government of Assam ostensibly to vacate the government lands – forestlands, farmlands, pastures, marsh and wetlands – expropriated by a large section of landless persons, have made them homeless, displaced and destitute. Their children are deprived of education and even the parents’ love and care.  And it has brought about an untold misery to their life. In fact, it cannot be the situation acceptable in a civilized society nor can it contribute to its welfare and socio-economic growth.

Most of these evicted persons earlier lived on both banks of the River Brahmaputra for years.  But they had to lose their residential areas and arable lands owing to the massive erosions caused by the flood-waters of the River Brahmaputra and it compelled them to expropriate some government lands remaining unused for years for their settlement therein. One can still see their earlier vast residential areas and arable lands under the waters of the same river. The government should begin verifying their necessary documents substantiating their citizenship in India. Those who are found India’s genuine citizens but landless should be rehabilitated or resettled on some government lands allocating at least 1.5 kathas of land to each family on humanitarian ground. Once Mahatma Gandhi said: “Justice without generosity is the justice of Shylock.”                                                                                                                                                   .          If the evicted persons are not rehabilitated soon, they are very likely to involve in some anti-social activities resulting in law and order problem in state. Notably if once a problem occurs in an area and if it is not judiciously resolved soon, it later diversifies many ways requiring huge money, time and strength to resolve it in future. The foreign national problem still continues to exist in Assam even 78 years after Independence due to the same reason. Sooner a problem is resolved, better it is for a society.

The Global Chessboard

Trump wants to portray himself as a peace maker, and might be dreaming of being elected for ‘Nobel Peace Prize’. He has already taken credit for the cessation of hostilities between India and Pakistan, for which, he had no leverage at all.

The peace treaty he brokered between Armania and Azerbaijan is no innocent act. How can a warmongering leader enable Holocaust in one region and peace in the other. It’s a Devil in sheep’s clothing.

He along with his team of Colonialist powers wants to isolate Iran from the north. Thus, the connection between Russia and Iran is cut off. Türkiye is already siding with the West, and has proved its hypocrisy beyond doubt.

I want to draw your attention towards the Seerah. The Battle of Badr was over but the war with Quraish wasn’t.

So you see, the 12-day battle, between Iran and Israel-US combined, may be over, but the war is ongoing.  Iran is not Naive, and watching the development very closely, and has even objected to this, so-called peace between its two northern countries. It is amply aware of its significance vis-a-vis its relations with Russia and China.

Many more moves are yet to be played on this global chessboard.

Just keep watching.

Save Syria Before It’s Too Late

After killing more than 60,000 innocent people in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli forces are now targeting Syria, a nation which has already been devastated by civil war which lasted for years together. Israel no doubt has the unabashed support of the United States which is why they have been carrying out their murderous assaults in the Middle-East region with devastating effect.

Unless other world powers like Russia, the UK and France step in and demand that Israel stop such strikes on the Syrians, these attacks will continue with impunity. We cannot have another full-fledged war in the region which has already seen enough killings and destruction of assets.
