Saudi King Abdullah on Apr 13 held wide range of talks with the visiting Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the royal resort at Rawdat Khuraim, a camping spot 100 km north east of Riyadh. The Turkish premier also met with Crown Prince Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, at the Riyadh Air Base and they discussed regional, international and topics of mutual concern.
As with his talks with the King, security and stability of the region and the recent developments in Middle East also figured in their discussions. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed recent developments in the region as well as in the international arena. They also dwelt on the role of the two countries in the midst of the current situation in the region. King Abdullah also discussed matters of bilateral interests with the visiting premier and explored ways and means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in all prospective fields for the betterment of the peoples of Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
