SBF, a sister organisation of Human Welfare Foundation, which is working under Vision 2016 programme has started surveying the flood affected areas near Yamuna river like Dhobi Ghat, Okhla, New Delhi.  The Society for Bright Future (SBF) is working to provide relief and rehabilitation for the victims. SBF has recently distributed plastic sheets among the flood victims of Dhobi Ghat and thereafter the team of SBF on October 2 surveyed with the help of volunteers of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind and decided to provide new clothes, bamboos and other materials of relief to rehabilitate them. The water level of Yamuna river is receding now. And the time has come to rehabilitate and make permanent houses for the victims,” said Aquil Ahmed, co-ordinator of SBF.

During the survey, the team found that few children got injury during flood. Muhammad Aneequl, son of Anwar Hussain is in very critical condition. Due to short circuit  he was badly injured on face. His father said he is getting treatment at Safdurjung Hospital where doctors said he would be well after eye operation and some other operations including plastic surgery.
During the survey one more child, 8 years old, was found suffering from paralysis and he is physically weaker. He is the son of Maulana Ramazan. After the survey, SBF authorities are discussing with community leaders and organisations to provide best medical treatment for flood affected victims, especially these children.
