Two sets of law exist in this country for all practical purposes, one for the rich and the influential, affording the luxury of costly lawyers, and the other one mostly for those who have no money to engage costly lawyers who could argue in courts on similar grounds as cited by lawyers of 2-G accused to successfully get the bail from Supreme Court. Of course, undoubtedly bail is a rule and jails exception. But should this principle not be applied universally for all under-trials, jam-packed in over-crowded jails throughout the country where most of the jailed people are under-trials?
