AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis on May 26 said the University will soon emerge as a modern educational technology hub contributing significantly to both knowledge acquisition and knowledge creation. The Bluetooth enabled Wi-Max system will be bound to change the educational scape in AMU, he observed.
In a review meeting held with Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis, on the progress of ongoing Wi-Max installation in the Aligarh Muslim University and its satellite campuses, the General Manager of BSNL, Mr. Mohd. Kauser Khan said that the 4 towers out of 12, have already become functional in AMU. These Wi-Max towers will cater to the need of the high speed internet connectivity in the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Education, Women’s Polytechnic, Begum Sultan Jahan Hall, Administrative Block and other departments located nearby.
