Friends of Weaker Society, Ranchi, has distributed Rs. 40 lakh among economically weaker students to help them continue their studies. The Society provided sweaters for needy students as well. The cheque was distributed at a huge programme held at Reyan Urdu Girls High School, at Ranchi in Jharkhand.
Tanweer Ahmad, president of the Society, said the Society has helped more than 500 students with monetary help and other accessories to continue their studies since 2008.
