By evolving a discussion platform – a Chair of Understanding – every stakeholder of society would help strengthen healthy pluralism in society.
First, each Muslim is doubly obliged to shape his life with the principles of the last revered model, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him). We Muslims cannot ignore his wisdom in removing his own title of Messenger of God over a deed to be signed with unbelievers of Islam. Such tolerance and team-building spirit made him the greatest leader of humanity.
Secondly, each phobia is inter-linked with unfair politics and economic interest totalling to psycho-warfare and conspiracies, which demand severe patience and reasoning.
Thirdly, with the help of academia, journalism, advertisement and marketing, and public relations, our efforts should be to reshape the mindset and biases of co-citizens and co-religionists, or even atheists and liberals.
Finally, scholars must convert every method of targeting Islam into positivity with the best teachings of Prophet Muhammad. It should be our modern approach, instead of mere claiming the legacy of Islam.

PK an Eye Opener
The blockbuster film PK has got plenty of lessons and message. The first and the foremost is why the aliens despite primitive and backward thinking live life alike but on the contrary human beings considered most civilized have plenty of differences in their thoughts, actions, rituals and beliefs. The second is the Almighty who has created so many planets, the earth, the moon and the sun is not so weak and incapable that the so-called god man needs to protect Him. It has marvellously projected how one community is different from another, how people of one religion think differently from one another. Why their customs and rituals are different from one another. People should worship the Almighty Who has created the entire world and not the one made by the people with their mortal hands.
It also highlights the levels of corruption in our society. The film has also made a point that Muslims are bad but they are held so because of the prejudices and false beliefs. Such films can help people to choose the right path and clear many doubts about the creator.

PM Missing Developmental Spirit
This refers to cover story, “Assembly Elections: Alarm Bells for Regional Satraps,” published in Radiance (4-10 January). In the absence of any formation of government in J&K in sight, the governor has imposed president rule in the state. On the national scene, it has righty pointed out that the development rhetoric built up by the BJP in favour of Narendra Modi is losing its sheen by the day. The divisive and non-developmental issues are hitting headlines more than any constructive work done by the party. Under such shadow boxing within the BJP, Narendra Modi has to draw a line for saffron brigade who are all out to tarnish his developmental plank if he at all wants to pursue developmental agenda in the near future.

Take Action against Terrorists
Islam does not support any killing without the offence being established in courts. Terrorists’ killing of others without due process is Haram in Islam.
Action should be taken against terrorists, not against the community to which terrorists may belong.
Islamic organisations and states should go all out against terrorists.
