Sudden erupted love for Jinnah first in Advani, and now in Jaswant Singh after six long decades of the country’s partition and independence seems to be a game-plan of BJP to keep the party in news even though through controversies! Media fuels the controversies to BJP’s designed tune. What Advani or Jaswant Singh said about Jinnah may not be far away from facts. It would have been better if media could highlight observations of BJP leaders like Jaswant Singh (and earlier LK Advani) in full context of their presentation rather than mentioning ‘controversial’ single-line version out of complete text to make media-story newsworthy.
