Attending the JIH All India ArkanIjtima was a profound experience that left a lasting impression on my personal, spiritual and professional life. Representing Dawat-e-Islami as both a Karkun and a clinical pharmacist, I had the privilege of contributing to and witnessing a remarkable confluence of dedication, sacrifice, and collective responsibility. The Ijtima was not merely an event – it was a powerful convergence of individuals united by a higher purpose, striving to achieve personal growth and societal betterment.
The program was an embodiment of grandeur and meticulous organisation, reflecting months of planning and the collective effort of countless volunteers. From inspiring speeches to in-depth workshops, every segment was designed to nurture both the mind and soul. Key themes such as personal accountability, societal contributions, and the importance of leading by example were explored in depth, leaving me with invaluable insights to apply in my personal and professional spheres.
I found the event profoundly impactful. The emphasis on precision, discipline, and ethical practices in Islamic teachings directly relates to the principles of my professional practice and my responsibilities as an active member of the Jamaat.
One of the most humbling aspects of the Ijtima was witnessing the sacrifices made by participants and organisers alike. People from various walks of life left behind their comfort zones, dedicating their time and energy for a cause greater than themselves. This collective spirit of sacrifice reminded me of the principles of selflessness and empathy, which are at the core of both Islamic values and my professional role in patient care.
The Ijtima was rooted in simplicity, discipline, and purpose. From shared meals to congregational prayers, every moment reinforced the sense of unity and mutual respect. For someone balancing the demanding life of a pharmacist and a Karkun, this break from the routine was a refreshing reminder of the importance of spiritual rejuvenation and collective harmony.
The event highlighted the power of teamwork and effective leadership – qualities essential in both healthcare and community work.
The seamless coordination of activities emphasised the importance of precision, a principle I adhere to in clinical practice.
Interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds reinforced the need for empathy, indispensable both in patient care and in organisational responsibilities.
As I return to my routine, I carry with me a renewed sense of purpose and a commitment to integrate these lessons into both my professional life and my work in the Jamaat.
May Allah guide us all to be productive, purposeful, and united in our efforts.

As an avid reader of Radiance, I compliment your entire team for publishing an informative and well-designed Focus Issue of 16th November 2024 on the occasion of JIH Hyderabad Conference.
The learned writers have described the activities of JIH and its sister organisations working in different fields for the upliftment and betterment of less privileged, marginalised sections of society on humanitarian basis. It is wedded to the principles of secularism as enshrined in our Constitution drafted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The choice of articles, its presentation in lucid language sends a positive image of JIH across the countrymen.
