I would like to note the difference in character of two similar sounding organisations of West Bengal, namely: Milli Ittehad Parishad and Milli Council. Milli Ittehad Parishad is an umbrella body of Muslim organisations while Milli Council of West Bengal is nothing but an organisation of few individuals who are pro-powers and receptionist to the ruling party.
