A Move Worth Following

This is apropos to the column of ‘Survey on Muslim Issues’ of Radiance 31 March-6 April. First of all I would like to congratulate the team Radiance for conducting a comprehensive survey for the first time and hope the practice to be continued in future. I was taken aback by the revelation of the survey that more than 55 per cent people are not in a position to say that any Muslim organisation or leader is working effectively. This is really a point for Muslim organisations to think over. I fully back the suggestion of Mr.Nusrat Ali that the most important issue for Muslims is unawareness of religion, the religion which has guidance for every walk of life. Illiteracy and discrimination are also some other issues for Muslims. Among the suggestions made by public to overcome the problems, “Change in Mindset of Muslims towards Growth Oriented Issues” really need some attention.
