A Thin Line Divides the Two

Contrary to popular perception of holding different ideological stances, only a thin line divides the Congress and the BJP.

Contrary to popular perception of holding different ideological stances, only a thin line divides the Congress and the BJP.  While the BJP is vociferous on its divisive agenda picking up the Ram mandir card once again, the total inaction on the Sri Krishna Commission and Rajinder Sachar Committee reports fly in the face of Muslim appeasement by the Congress. On pursuing the neo-liberal economic agenda, both parties are akin to two bulls tied to the same cart.  For a majority of Indians in general and the Muslim community in particular, it is a case of choosing the lesser evil.  It is time the electorate looked forward to a third alternative, preferably rallied round by the Left parties which played a proactive role at the Centre during the last five years.
