Shabbir Ahmad Masihullah, who was arrested on the charge of plotting bombs in Malegaon in 2006 only to be released innocent by the court after spending nearly 5 years in jail in 2011, runs his clinic for the patients of rheumatism to earn his living. Shabbir says he learnt this technique from his fellow prisoners in Arthur Road Jail. A large number of patients have been seen waiting for their turn to meet him as his has become a household name in nearby districts for the remedy of rheumatism. He uses a Chinese technique of acupressure for the remedy of this disease and, as the patients say, this is one of the best remedies they have ever undergone for their years long disease. Shabbir runs his clinic at the same place where he was arrested from and he has also cured the Superintendent of the jail where he was languishing.
