The manner in which sex-related laws are being relaxed in many countries, especially in the West, itwould not be too far from now when rape, gang-rape and incest too would be declared lawful or de-criminalised. After all actress Sunny Leone had sometimes back allegedly tweeted that Rape is not acrime, it is a surprise sex. According to the media reports, she deleted this tweet soon after it causedstorm and denied that she had written any such tweet.
One is compelled to come to the above conclusion because on December 13, 2022 President Joe Biden ofthe United States signed a Bill legalising same sex marriage in the country. He and many others in hiscountry and Europe hailed the move as a big leap in the direction of individual freedom. It is anotherthing that there are equally strong number of people in those very countries who oppose any form ofhomosexuality.
In India too, the Supreme Court, some five years ago, de-criminalised homosexuality. Now a section ofpublic opinion-makers and those associated with legal fraternity are, in the name of liberty,demanding that same sex marriage be legalised.
Liberal western media are holding the clergies of different faiths responsible for opposing the samesex marriage and the rights of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders (LGBTs). Many in India tooare making the same argument to buttress their points.
BOGUS ARGUMENT
But what they overlook is that several developed countries like China, Japan, South Korea, Russia,Israel, etc. have not legalised the same sex marriage. At least the three big economic powerhouses ofthe East Asia have nothing to do with religion yet they do not give legal sanction to such marriages.China and Japan are the second and third top economies of the world while South Korea stands at10th.Thus there is no place for the bogus argument that legalising same sex marriage is a symbol ofdevelopment.
Besides, medically they are not approved as such unnatural practices would open a floodgate for thespread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV-AIDS. A homosexual man is 17 times more prone toanal cancer than any other normal human being. Trauma and rupture of the passive male private part canalso not be ruled out. The world is very well aware of the havoc these diseases have caused – and can stillcause.
HISTORY OF HOMOSEXUALITY
Homosexuality has a long history. Prophet Lut (Lot in the Bible) tried his level best to convince thepeople of Sodom, a township 100 km from Jerusalem, to give up this perversion. But when they did notlisten and continued with their unnatural act, according to both the Qur’ān and the Bible, the whole populationwas severely punished. The township was totally destroyed. The signs of destruction are stillvisible.
GAYS ARE MISOGYNISTS

As those espousing the cause of women’s emancipation are blindly imitating men, they find no fault withbecoming lesbians. They claim to be the best defenders of the women cause, but they will have noproblem in donning male clothes. Contrary to this, they have not succeeded in forcing the men to wearwomen’s dresses. What type of equality it is when such feminists are surrendering the very identity ofwomanhood? That is, their choice of dressing.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO GLOBAL POPULATION?
When China, Japan and several European countries are facing serious problem of aging because of declinein population, what will happen when such sexual perversion is promoted. The process of procreationwould stop. In a few decades, the world would not only witness sharp fall in population, but would alsosee huge jump in dreadful sexually transmitted diseases. Are those hailing the same sex marriage as arevolutionary development in the direction of personal freedom understanding as to what they are doing?
LIVE-IN RELATIONSHIP HAS FAILED
The liberals have failed to take notice of the fact that the live-in relationship, which they hadpromoted, has given birth to another problem. The sufferers once again are women as there are no legalbondage on men who can simply walk away from the relationship. There is no scope of payment ofmaintenance or compensation after divorce which is mandatory in many countries.
The judiciary, not in India alone, but in other countries too,is finding it difficult to tackle suchcases.Young boys and girls are going for live-in relationship even before the minimum age fixedformarriage by the government of respective countries. In a number of cases, the boy simply deserts thegirl after she becomes pregnant or give birth to a baby. When the girl approaches the court, the judgesfind it difficult to give ruling in her favour.
NO LESSON LEARNT
It is very easy to support the demand of the same sex marriage. But those who are championing thiscause have failed to learn any lesson from live-in relationship.
If the same sex marriage really becomes fashionable, what will happen to the properties of the gay andlesbian couples after their death. Those who are stoutly defending this perversion fail to appreciatethe fact that they have opened a Pandora’sbox. The government will have to make big changes in theinheritance laws.
What is really alarming is that there are several intellectuals in India who are thoughtlessly copyingthe West. They love to adopt the same diction and language which is spoken by the so-called liberals inthe US, Canada, Europe, etc. What they are not understanding is that an overwhelming number of worldopinion – cutting across all the religious and nationality boundaries – are strongly opposed to promotionof these unnatural acts.
The champions of the rights of same sex marriage and LGBTs should in fact be charged with spreadingdreadful diseases.
It is not that in private there are men and women who are indulging in sexual perversions. But openlyallowing them will certainly have disastrous impact on the overall health of the society. They aregiving licence to the strong and powerful men to commit such act on helpless boys of tender age. Whattype of individual liberty are these people espousing?
