This refers to the Moditva of ‘BJP before LokSabha Polls’ (Radiance 14-20 April). The expectant Prime Ministerial candidate of BJP, Narendra Modi, is becoming dictator with every sun rise especially within the fold of the party. The development of Gujarat is not only because of the Modi’s endeavours. The state was among one of the fastest developing states in the nation even before Modi’s regime. All what Modi did is to walk into the footsteps of his ancestors. One must go through the history of the state before giving him the credit of what others did. Moreover, how can Modi ditch the ghost of 2002 riots? Also,a recent survey report of ANHAD claims that, within a month, at least nine Muslim traders have been forced to leave the state. Adding, promoting Modi and his complicit as a mascot of the party exposes the party’s anti-Muslim policy. I think the BJP and all other political parties rather than widening the gap between two sections of the community should adopt some fair policies.
