American Federation of Muslims from India (AFMI) honoured 77 students from 18 states of India for achieving educational excellence in Class 10 and 12 examinations at its annual convention held on December 27 in Agra. Governor of Haryana Dr. A. R. Qidwai awarded gold, silver and bronze medals to the meritorious students.
AFMI is a North America-based grassroots organisation which aims to advance the cause of Muslims and other underprivileged masses in India particularly in the field of education.
