The Ahle SunnathwalJamaath, based in Ambur, Tamil Nadu, has announced a significant initiative aimed at emphasizing the importance and sanctity of Nikah (marriage) in Islam. Recognizing marriage as a sacred bond and a tradition of the Prophets, the organization has expressed concern over the rising trend of dissolving marriages over trivial matters, leading to the breakdown of families and homes.
In response to this pressing issue, Ahle SunnathwalJamaath has decided to establish a structured counseling system for Nikah. This initiative aims to educate the community about the virtues and significance of marriage, and to provide guidance to both prospective brides and grooms along with their families.
For the past year, efforts have been made to raise awareness on this topic, but various challenges have hindered full-scale implementation. Now, under the patronage of Ahle SunnathwalJamaath and the guidance of Jamaat-ul-Ulema, Ambur, the counseling sessions will be formally introduced.
The program will include separate sessions for the bridegrooms and their guardians, and for the brides and their guardians. Esteemed scholars will provide detailed insights into the subject during these sessions.
