In a letter written to the Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh, the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat draws the attention of the PM towards to inhumane atrocities the Palestinians are facing at the hands of the Israelis. The letter laments the fact that the even the Human Rights Organisations are not allowed for relief and rehabilitation work.
“The Father of Nation considered the idea of creating Israel on Palestinian land to be a crime against humanity. You are well aware that India refused to recognise Israel till 1991. We demand that India should change its present foreign policy and break all relations with Israel. We also demand that the Israeli embassy should be closed down in India.”
In another letter, written to the Secretary General of the United Nation Organisation, AIMMM has urged the UN to take stern actions against the barbaric acts of the Israelis to deliver the people of Palestine. “We therefore request you to take our sentiments very seriously and take immediate and appropriate measures and steps to liberate the occupied area of Palestine from the clutches of Israel and take stern action against Israeli forces for their Human Rights violations.”
