Swami Aseemanand, the Sangh Parivar functionary and accused in some terror blast cases and Co-accused Bharat Bhai will not be prosecution’s approvers in the infamous Dargah Sharif blast case. Chief Judicial Magistrate RL Mud rejected their applications for turning approvers on April 9. In their request, the two accused said that they had written applications for becoming approvers under pressure and torture by the investigating-prosecuting agency, ATS. This is seen as a serious blow to the prosecution’s efforts in the case in which senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar has also been referred to as one of the main conspirators.
