Hence cast your vote definitely. Never waste it in any manner. Voting an incapable person due to personal affiliations or greed is considered waste and it is impermissible under the Shariah.

The Karnataka Ameer-e-Shariat Moulana Sagheer Ahmed Khan has made the following appeal to the people of Karnataka:

India is a democratic country. Vote is the greatest strength of the people in the political system of the country. Parliamentary elections 2024 are just ahead. Our state is going to the poll in the second phase on April 26. I earnestly request you to feel that it is your vote that is going to be the decisive one. Hence cast your vote definitely. Never waste it in any manner. Voting an incapable person due to personal affiliations or greed is considered waste and it is impermissible under the Shariah.

Cast your vote in the early hours on April 26. Women should move to their parental or in-laws’ place where their vote is listed and cast it.

Never put the indelible ink on your finger at anybody’s instinct before the polling day.

Form a team of youths in every mohalla level to create awareness among the voters and enable them to cast their votes.

The people whose names are mentioned in the electoral list must and should cast their votes at any cost. Even if they do not possess the voter ID card, they can make use of any of the 12 other documents as directed by the Election Commission.

The business class and employed people should schedule their time right now and cast their votes accordingly.

The imams of the mosques can play a vital role in election process. I especially appeal to them to spare at least 10 minutes in their Friday sermon to impress the audience about the importance of vote.
