AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis, in exercise of the powers vested in him under Section 19(3) of the AMU Act, has approved the appointment of Professor Mujahid Beg, Department of Medicine, J.N. Medical College as Proctor in addition to his own duties for a period of two years. Professor Beg may organise the proctorial system to effectively serve the cause of the University.
The Vice Chancellor has greatly appreciated the services rendered by Professor Mohd. Zubair Khan, the outgoing Proctor and the spirit of teamwork that he has displayed was remarkable. The Vice Chancellor has requested all to cooperate with the new Proctor and give him the best of support.
