In order to strengthen and promote academic and research cooperation with each other, the Aligarh Muslim University and the Unani Section of Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka signed a Memorandum of Understanding at AMU in Aligarh on April 2.
The MoU will facilitate cooperation and development in the areas of mutual interest and benefit and enable both the universities to promote individual contacts among scholars, and students. It would also seek to promote links in teaching and research activities by providing opportunities for staff and students’ exchange between the two institutions. Under the MoU, the issues related to joint study programmes, exchange of academic materials and sharing of experience and expertise concerning administration and management of the two institutions will be addressed.
