The displeasure of the Government of India and the Congress party over the choice of words by Anna Hazare while defending Kiran Bedi is understandable. Fortunately, their reaction to Anna’s words has been subdued which is commendable. Actually Anna Hazare has lowered himself in the esteem of the civil society first by defending Kiran Bedi and secondly by using intemperate language in doing so.
