The recent statement made by Murli Manohar Joshi that there is no Modi wave and the Gujarat model cannot be applied elsewhere in the country is remarkable and reveals the anxiety against one man show of Narendra Modi during the election campaign. The disenchantment of senior leaders in the BJP camp is getting shriller by the day and leaders are openly making statements against the handling of the BJP affairs which many in the party believe is against party democracy because the action of Narendra Modi either in Gujarat or out of Gujarat is no less than authoritarian. The entire campaign machinery is being used by the confidante of Narendra Modi to glorify his image.
