A girl student of a city-based school in Hyderabad has penned a 999-ft Qur’an in Urdu. Tejasri, whose father Balu is also a noted artist, is a class-X student of Lotus Lap Public School in Hyderabad.  Tejasri began writing the Urdu text on April 23. She is eyeing a place in the Guinness World Records through this feat. She presented a copy of the Quran to TDP president Chandrababu Naidu at the NTR Trust Bhavan on May 12.
