The Association for Protection of Civil Rights, on 25 December, organised a legal workshop for its para-legal volunteers in the national capital. The volunteers were given guidance on how to prevent communal uprisings as well as the way to control such riots from spreading if unfortunately erupted. The volunteers were also given detailed information regarding RTI, FIR, jurisdiction of Police, Court and Jail and on different other topics. Senior Advocate of Supreme Court Mahmood Paracha, RTI activist Afroz Alam Sahil, National Co-ordinator of APCR Syed Akhlaq Ahmad and others spoke on the occasion.
