Arabs Know All

Contrary to what Arab intellectuals and politicians believe, Arabs are capable of illustrating their problems, setting their priorities, and openly outline their political and value biases. Their aspirations for democracy have become vibrant. They are now capable of identifying the threats to their homeland without any ambiguity. In this, the Arab public, frankly, outshines its political and cultural elite. It is reformulating the questions which it has been asking for decades and insisting on, though they are merely a product of their perceptions.

One of the most prominent notions popularised and promoted by intellectuals, before politicians, is that the awareness level of the people is weak. But in the recent opinion poll, the Arabs were able to evaluate their situation on objective grounds which they are consciously aware of. A whopping 35% of citizens believe that their countries are moving in the wrong direction, compared to 42% who say that they are moving in the right direction.

Those who said things are going in the wrong direction gave many reasons: 40% of them attributed this to economic reasons, and 14% stated that the reason is bad and unstable political conditions such as political confusion and the failure of the political system to do what it should do. Nine percent said that the reason is poor management and public policies of the state. Seven percent pointed out the lack of stability in general.

Those who said that their countries are moving in the right direction, 83% provided reasons, while 17% could not do so or refused to answer.

Entire Palestine is Arab

Israel is repeatedly insulting. We must describe it as “the Zionist enemy.”  Yes, it is the Zionist enemy.

Israel is just an occupation. This will inevitably disappear from the sea to the river, and from the Syrian Golan Heights as well. The fact is that these Israelis must prepare themselves to carry their “scarves” and return to where they came from. They must realise that any occupier must return to where it came from. These are the facts of history.

Great Algeria was under occupation for 132 years. Then the historical moment came and the occupiers were forced to carry their baggage and return from where they had come. It is certain that those who came to Palestine will leave it in a hurry.

It is sure and also known that any occupied country definitely returns to its original people, as the great Algeria has returned to its people after one hundred and thirty-two years. They have occupied Palestine at a bad historical moment. But they will get out of it. These are the facts of history.

This must be realised by the occupying Zionists. They must prepare themselves for their departure, as this is the homeland of the Palestinian people. This blessed country has been visited by many passers-by. The Israelis must realise their destiny to leave similar to all those who invaded lands which were not theirs. They returned from Algeria. Similarly, Palestine will be back to its people. Palestine is for Palestinians, no one else.
