Arab countries are in need of new, young, educated, and well-informed leaders who are aware of what is happening in the world. These leaders should be capable of building relationships which may not be equal due to the persisting power imbalance, but they should firmly uphold rights and national sovereignty. They should believe that they are active participants in a large village threatened by conflict and wars. They must excel in engaging in non-military alliances which are based on inviting everyone for dialogue within these societies, engaging in open discussions with intellectuals and experts in important strategic areas, and being open to the youth in particular, as they are becoming the majority and are the compass which determines the course of events in the world.

Without this dialogue and without radical evaluations, the fate of these countries and current leaderships will blunder, resulting in limited progress in terms of economic development and long-term strategic thinking.

We are currently witnessing a gradual and complete Western decline, as well as weakening of others, including China, which may appear to have a broader horizon and a potentially better future. However, it is still a weak country that lacks fundamental capabilities. China is not the desired model in terms of freedom, creativity, and the ability to reconsider the foundations of societal organisation.

Modern states are no longer governed by iron fist, force, and imposed authority on people. They should not be governed by a culture which does not stem from their ethics and value system.
