In a meeting organised by All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat the issue of Muslims facing problems at national and international levels, was discussed. The meeting, presided over by Dr. Zafrul Islam Khan, President AIMMM, revolved extensively around the latest illegal arrests of the Muslim youths and declared the cases of arrest as a conspiracy to subdue them. The meeting ended up with many resolutions. One of the resolutions was that a “White Paper,” related to the illegal arrests and subsequent release, will be maintained from now onwards and it will be presented before the administration, media and other active organisations engaged in human rights violation cases. Another statement that came out of the meeting was that the subsidy given to the Hajj pilgrims is unnecessary and the Hajj Committee itself should look out for better airlines on reasonable price. On the issue of Kashmir, it was said that there is no need to put 7 lakh army men in the valley as the incidents of violence are decreasing day by day.
