The mandate achieved by BJP in the general elections 2014 has been conspicuous. In terms of numbers and popular support it has been a decisive victory for Hindutva. The Organiser (mouthpiece of RSS) carried it in the words: “For a larger Mission of building powerful and prosperous India with Strong foundation of Cultural Nationalism” (25 May, 2014). The emphasis during the whole election campaign was over the Gujarat Model of Development, hence the next five years to enact and achieve the goals set out in the Manifesto of BJP for these elections without any hindrance of the allied parties is assured. The minorities’ especially the Muslims’ representation has no significance to deter any legislation against their legitimate rights and hence no way but to swallow the bitter pills. It is well said as you sow, so you reap!
