The Egyptian authorities disclosed “the last letter”, which was written by Mohammed Badie, the General Leader of Muslim Brotherhood, before he was arrested on 20 August. The letter, entitled “The Nation of the High Goals and the Precious Sacrifices”, promised the Muslim Brotherhood members of achieving victory. The Muslim Brotherhood is “one of the most dedicated parties in Egypt,” said Badie in his letter. He narrated how the Muslim Brotherhood was suppressed, oppressed and killed for 80 years at the hands of the militants in Egypt. “Tyrants, oppressors, blood-shedders will regret their inhumane actions soon because Allah is with the righteous people,” said Badie. “People of Palestine are examples of steadfastness and patience; they do not fear the Zionist war machineries,” said Badie, calling on the Egyptians to have patience.
