Two Kanpur-based Bajrang Dal activists underwent narco analysis test at a Mumbai laboratory on September 7. The brother duo – Sunil and Subodh Dixit – was allegedly close to two other members of Bajrang Dal, who were killed in a mysterious blast, in a house at Kanpur’s Kalyanpur area on August 24. Senior Superintendent of Police Kanpur, Ashok Kumar Singh said: “We expect to receive the test report after a week. Depending on the report we will decide our future course of action.” The police had picked up the brothers after going through the call details of Rajiv Mishra and Bhupinder Singh, who were killed in the August 24 blast at Rajiv Nagar locality. The call details had revealed that Rajiv had called up Subodh a few minutes before the blast. There was also frequent exchange of calls between Bhupinder and Sunil. The Anti-Terror Squad and the local police are conducting a joint probe into the case.
