Mr Nusrat Ali, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, describing Friday Batla House Encounter mournful, demanded a high-level impartial investigation to trace out crucial facts.

In a press statement issued in the Capital on September 21, JIH leader advocated that an impartial investigation would expose the reality of the involvement of those encountered youths in terror activities.

Mr Nusrat Ali raised questions on the death of Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma, who sadly lost his life in the encounter: “In which circumstances he was killed as according to an ex-IPS official, ‘it is a matter of investigation into why Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma didn’t wear bullet-proof jacket in such a perfectly prepared operation’?”

Condemning the incidents of terrorism in the country, Mr Ali drew the attention of the government that establishment of peace can only be possible in the country by impartial investigation into all possible elements and tracing out the real culprits behind the terror attacks. “But it is unjust behaviour to blame a particular community or target some particular areas before conducting the investigation; it would create unrest in the society”, he added.

JIH leader called upon all sincere people of the country to come forward to create the atmosphere of harmony, peace, and fraternity in the society and to keep a watch on some anti-social and mischievous elements, in order to prevent any further turmoil or unrest in the country.
