Bihar Anjuman, a non-profit welfare organisation, working for the uplift of the Muslim community residing in Bihar and Jharkhand has launched yet another project to ensure that the children of the marginalised community also get the opportunity to go to schools and enrich their talent. The recent project, AMBITION 2020, which Bihar Anjuman Dammam-Khobar chapter has overtaken, is to adopt children from such sections of society that live in abject poverty and are willing but incapable to educate their children. The project aims to cover the entire expenses of 200 children from Grade Five (5) till they complete their Senior Secondary Schooling with new batches enrolling every year.

Bihar Anjuman’s Dammam-Khobar chapter has planned to organise a benefit dinner, DINE TO EDUCATE The Poor Children, on Jan 12, 2012 to address the gravity of the situation and have a gathering of such like-minded people willing to make an impact and  bring the change through direct action. The project aims at providing hope and opportunity for the families that send their children to work in hazardous and unhealthy situations owing to their poverty and unemployment. It shall ensure that the upcoming generations of such families rather than following the footsteps of their elders become the architect of their own destinies and shape the future of the community and the nation as a whole.
