Bihar CM Opposes Reservations for Muslims

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on November 23 joined the Saffronites who are opposing reservation for Muslims on the basis of religion saying it would unnecessarily lead to divisions in and polarisation of the society apart from being unconstitutional.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on November 23 joined the Saffronites who are opposing reservation for Muslims on the basis of religion saying it would unnecessarily lead to divisions in and polarisation of the society apart from being unconstitutional.

Instead categorise them among the Dalits and backward classes and provide them with reservation which would cover most of the community, he said in an interaction with editors in New Delhi .
