A blast took place in a Madrasa in Jind town of Haryana on October 18. Fortunately, no casualty was reported. The Madrasa is located in the campus of Idgah in the meat market along the Hansi branch canal. Report says that the blast took place shortly after the conclusion of Namaz-e-Isha around 9.45 p.m. About 25 persons had offered the namaz. Mohammad Shayin, Deputy Commissioner, Jind, who along with the S.P, Jind, told media persons that about 45 students, who study in the madrasa, also stayed there, but today they were sleeping in another room. Forensic science experts have been called from Hissar for investigation. The area has been cordoned off. Security in the town has been strengthened. So far, the cause of explosion is not known.
