To cash in on the situation arising out of SP-Kalyan alliance that is not going down well with a section of Muslims, the ruling BSP has decided to cash in on the situation and field at least 25% candidates from the Muslim community in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. Accordingly, the party is planning to change its candidates in 5-10% Parliamentary Constituencies. Senior party leader and cabinet minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui has been given the responsibility of drumming up the community leaders in the BSP’s favour.
