George Bush-II has once again confirmed that he is a bad executor. By making the former Iraqi President, Saddam Hussein, a sacrificial goat just at the time when the Arab world – including those performing Haj – were offering sacrifice to animals on Eid-ul-Adha day, he deliberately wanted to provoke the Muslims throughout the globe.
But by his sheer stupidity and utter disregard to the timing, the President of the ‘biggest’ power on the surface of the earth has exposed the entire White race to the attack in this tourist season between Christmas and New Year. Millions of westerners are enjoying their holidays all over the planet, especially in the Third World countries.
By flogging a dead horse Bush, Blair and Company – the BBC of a different sort – have turned Saddam into a martyr. Even the most ardent critics of Saddam would not approve the timing of his execution. Many people will forgive or forget his crimes.
But the Bush and Blair are a wooden-headed lot who could not see beyond their nose. In the name of war on terror they had already jeopardised the life of their soldiers and citizens. As if that was not enough they deemed it fit to hang Saddam on the day considered very auspicious by the Muslims, of all sects and creeds.
Bush called the execution an important milestone and hoped that the situation would improve in Iraq and elsewhere. He gave similar assurance to the world while attacking Afghanistan and Iraq. By resorting to public execution he once again proved that the so-called civilized West is as barbaric as ever.
The Eid-ul-Adha day execution once again confirms that the Christianised Western imperialist powers are bent upon giving a religious colour to the whole tussle. How can the US establishment, its military bigwigs, its intelligence and think-tank be unaware and insensitive towards the day of sacrifice for Muslims? They all are well aware of it. Yet they deliberately chose this day even if it means risking the life of their own citizens elsewhere in the world. It is not that a hardcore terrorist would capitalise on the issue and strike on soft or even hard western target anywhere on the globe. Any young teenager can, out of frustration, attack any western tourist or national living anywhere in the world, especially Muslim countries.
The civilized West has always showed utter disregard to the religious sensitivity of the followers of other faiths be it Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and Jews in the past, not now. The horrors of Spanish Inquisition is still fresh in the mind of the Muslims. The British razed to the ground thousands of mosques, shrines and centres of learning in India after and before 1857. They executed many thousand Muslims for fun – yes fun – after the great Mutiny. And after the occupation of Jerusalem they got Al-Aqsa Mosque burnt. As if that was not enough western writers and cartoonists would time and again come out with their works caricaturing the Prophet of Islam and revered Islamic symbols.
Carried out by the western propaganda, many people in the Third World, Muslims too, started believing that the West has actually become civilized. But they have once again proved that in the age of clash of civilizations they are out and out barbarians. Time has not changed them at all. They would have executed Saddam a week or a month later. But the Neros of the West wanted to get it on the day of Eid-ul-Adha. After all there is a historical score to settle. While Muslims believe that it is Prophet Ibrahim, who offered the supreme sacrifice of his son Ismail on this day, the Jews are of the view that it was Prophet Ishaq, the other son, who showed the eagerness to give up his life for the cause of Allah. Today the Christianised imperialist western powers are in league with the Zionists. Why not make use of this contradiction when in the words of the Evangelists the final battle is on with Muslims.¨
